Veg Cheung(Tony Leung) is an owner of a food stall while Deborah(Sammi Cheng) is a tough modern business woman. They got into a car accident. In order to settle the matter privately, they met at a karaoke lounge in which they got drunk and had a night of passion. Deborah later got fired from her job and she worked at Veg's restaurant. Things get complicated when Veg's existing girlfriend wished to marry him.
