Shek Chung Yuk is cunning and smart while Shek Po Tin is more innocent and naive.The protagonist, who refers to himself as "Gouzazhong"  first appears as a young beggar roaming the streets of Kaifeng in order to search of his lost mother.  The greater part of the series deals with the complications that arise as the twins are mistaken for the other.

Ode to Gallantry (1989) (Chinese: 俠客行) is a Hong Kong television series first broadcasted on TVB in Hong Kong in 1989. It was adapted from a wuxia novel by Jin Yong. The novel was first serialised in Hong Kong from 11 June 1966 to 19 April 1967 in the newspaper Ming Pao. The novel shares the same Chinese title as a poem by the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai. It stars Tony Leung as Shek Po Tin/Shek Chung Yuk and Sheren Tang as Ting Tong.
