Xiao Man (Rui En) works as a CID officer and is portrayed as an anti-hero. Her character grew darker and it was revealed she had committed multiple morally questionable acts in order to fit her own idea of justice. 


Lin Zheng Yi (Chen Li Ping) is the other anti-hero of the show, and she acts as an informer for Xiaoman. Although not a police officer, Zheng Yi had a strong sense of righteousness and played as the voice of reason to Hu Xiaoman's increasing darkness.


Zhang Yu Ze (Tay Ping Hui) is Xiaoman's Boss. He was suffering from a brain tumour early on, but delayed his operation. In order to get evidence that Dylan killed his previous girlfriend Huizhong, Yu Ze has committed some questionable acts which put him at odd with Xiao Man.


Gao Jie Yu (Rebecca Lim) is a psychiatrist, and Xiaoman's friend and university classmate. She is the main villain who later regretted her actions. She was the mastermind behind the serial killings and was responsible for Yuze's death. She is being portrayed as being cold with little regard for human life, as seen in the way she manipulated her patients.


Xie Lang Feng (Elvin Ng) is Xiaoman's colleague and old rival. He is a CID Officer who joined Xiaoman's team and was in the same batch with her at the police academy. He is intelligent and quick-witted, though he appears to be eccentric and aloof. He is able to read behavioural cues accurately.

Unriddle 2 (simplified Chinese: 最火搭档 2) is a 20 episode Singaporean Chinese police crime drama which was telecast on Singapore's free-to-air channel, Mediacorp Channel 8 in 2012. It stars Rui En, Chen Liping, Rebecca Lim, Tay Ping Hui & Elvin Ng as the casts for the second series. It is produced by Paul Yuen (袁树伟) who is also a director. The drama trended worldwide on Twitter when it premiered. Rui En won the Best Actress and Tay Ping Hui won the Best Supporting Actor for their works on Unriddle 2 at Star Awards 2013. Chen Yi You won the Best Director.
